Why I'm Running
From arriving in this country as a war refugee to building a career as a physician, I've seen firsthand how hard work, compassion, and engaged leadership can make a difference in a community.
In Pleasant Hill, I've put those values into action, strengthening our parks, supporting families and seniors, and creating programs that bring neighbors together. Our city deserves someone who not only understands how to work through challenges, but who knows how to work with the community.
If you’re looking for someone who cares about the community, shows up even when others don’t, and spends time listening to residents before making a decision, you can trust I will.
My campaign values
A Promise to the Community
As a candidate and elected official I will run a clean campaign.
No PAC Money. I'll never accept Political Action Committee money. Elected officials should be accountable to the community.
No Political Parties. As an Independent, I promise to do what's best for the community & evaluate each situation without the influence of political parties.
No Endorsement Deals. I won't accept endorsements from current or former elected officials or groups since they are gained from political favors & alliances.
No Outside Influence. I will not accept money from lobbyists or special interest groups.

This is District 4's first election since the city moved to districting in 2024. For the first time, you have the opportunity to elect a neighbor who lives in your community, is directly accountable to District 4, and serves all of Pleasant Hill as a city councilmember.
