5 Point Plan

This plan was shaped by conversations with Pleasant Hill neighbors and will keep evolving as I meet more of you. Contact me to join the conversation.

  • Preserve Neighborhoods
  • Protect Greenspaces
  • Community Safety
  • Support Local Business
  • Transparent & Accountable

Preserve Neighborhoods

Protect the small-town character. Pleasant Hill can expand housing thoughtfully without compromising what makes it worth living in. Higher density belongs along transit corridors and underutilized commercial spaces, not pushed into the heart of established neighborhoods.

Protect Greenspaces

Defend Paso Nogal Park & District 4 public open spaces. As a physician and civil engineer, I understand the intersection of community, environment, and health. As a Board Director of the Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District, I have protected these public assets.

Community Safety

We need urgent action on traffic calming, wildfire preparedness, and public safety reform. As a physician I see safety differently, not just as the absence of crime but as the presence of conditions that keep people healthy, supported, and connected.

Support Local Business

A vibrant city requires a thriving local economy. I will work to actively attract and retain small businesses, reduce commercial vacancies, and create welcoming public spaces that encourage residents to shop and dine locally.

Transparent & Accountable

We need a City Hall that listens to and is accountable to residents, not outside influences. I will fight for balanced budgets, full transparency on tax dollar spending, clear records on council votes, and an open mayoral selection process.
